Honest review for future buyers — this is a great peeler with one real caveat. The wood handle needs basic wood-care: don't soak it, don't dishwasher it, wipe it dry after use. I made the mistake of leaving mine in soapy water overnight twice in the first week and the finish dulled a bit. Once I learned the hand-wash rule, the wood handle has stayed beautiful and the blade is as sharp as day one. Four stars because the box doesn't tell you any of this — five stars once you know.
