About butyl rubber:

Super waterproof tape is commonly known as foil tape. These tapes come with extruded butyl rubber, always tacky and pressure sensitive sealant with good adhesion strength. They can form an instant seal against water, air or dust, and remain permanently soft. They are ideal for filling gaps and sealing joints, such as those in bolted duct flanges and circular ducts in HVAC systems, air conditioning housings, roofing and cladding systems, caravan roofs and panels, car windscreens and tail lights, glass and metal.

Tips:

• Due to strong stickiness, please wear gloves to avoid hand sticking.
  
• In winter, it is better to use a hairdryer to warm up the tape before installation.
  
• Do not peel it off after application within 24 hours.
  
• Do not use with other waterproof materials such as benzine, benzene, ethylene, silicone, etc.
